North Oaks Family Dentistry ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to northoaksdentistry.com and does not cover information we collect in person during a dental visit, which is addressed instead in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Information We Collect

When you use the appointment request form on this site, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address, and preferred appointment days or times. This form is not a secure or HIPAA-compliant channel, so we intentionally don't ask for health history, symptoms, or insurance details here. If you include any anyway, know that it wasn't required, and consider calling us instead for anything sensitive.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs some technical information from every visitor, such as browser type, general location, and pages viewed, for security and performance purposes. We do not use this information to identify you personally.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry or appointment request, contact you back by phone or email, and keep basic records of that communication. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties for marketing purposes.

How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable steps to protect information submitted through this website. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, which is why we ask that you not include health information in the contact form and instead call our office directly at (919) 676-4242 for anything you'd rather keep off a web form.

Third-Party Services

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may process limited technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver and secure the site. Two features use third-party tools that may set their own cookies: the Google Map on our contact page, provided by Google, and the Cherry financing estimator, provided by Cherry Technologies, which also powers the financing button that can appear at the bottom of the page. Both load only after you accept cookies in the notice at the bottom of the page; if you decline, neither is loaded and we show plain links instead. Cherry may set cookies and process the information you enter to check your financing options, under Cherry's own privacy policy, and Google's map may set cookies under Google's privacy policy. Aside from these tools, we do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies on this site, and our visitor analytics are cookieless.
